Alicona Infinite Focus – Light Microscope

InfiniteFocus is an optical 3D micro coordinate system for form and roughness measurement. Measurements achieve a vertical resolution of up to 10nm. This system also operates on large measurement areas and volumes. Its results are traceable and ensure repeatable accuracy.

Microtomy

Ultramicrotomy (including cryoultramicrotomy) is a standard method for the preparation of ultrathin/semi-thin sections as well as very flat surfaces of plastics, biological and biomedical objects for various microscopic investigations.
Improvements in preparation techniques over the last few decades have demonstrated that thin sections of different materials that are free from artefacts can be successfully prepared for electron microscopic investigations.

NanoMill

Ion milling is used on physical science specimens to reduce the thickness to electron transparency. Inert gas, typically argon, is ionized and then accelerated toward the specimen surface. By momentum transfer, impinging ions sputter material from the specimen at a controlled rate. The NanoMillingSM process enhances specimen quality, which optimizes the results achieved by state-of-the-art microscopy techniques.
