The Cutting Edge of Ultramicrotomy
Claudia Mayrhofer and Armin Zankel from the FELMI-ZFE are invited to give talks at the Ultramicrotomy Workshop in Halle (Saale), Germany. This workshop is organized by the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, the Bethge-Center for Micro-Characterization and the „Bethge Stiftung“. It takes place at the Weinberg Campus in Halle.
Claudia presents a talk with the title “The Cutting Edge of Ultramicrotomy (Innovative Techniques for Ultrathin Sectioning in Modern Microscopy)” and Armin speaks about serial block-face scanning electron microscopy (SBF-SEM), which combines ultramicrotomy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
The FELMI-ZFE has an ultramicrotomy tradition over decades and plays a relevant international role concerning this matter.
